Our Chief Financial Officer

JaQuitta Danielle Bailey

JaQuitta Danielle Bailey was born to Cassandra Ponds and Raymond Dever in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a former all-star college basketball player for Seminole State College and Missouri Western State University. While a student, she worked as a meteorology intern for a Missouri news station and Sports Graphics intern for her university’s Athletic department. She also served as the Treasurer for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Most notably, she was an influential writer for her campus’ newspaper where she was assigned with covering all major sporting events.

After successfully completing her undergraduate degree, she joined the staff at a distinguished local newspaper in Tulsa, OK, worked as a college classroom instructor and an Assistant Women’s College Basketball Coach before beginning her current career in Norman, Oklahoma as a Weather Communicator for ship captains.

Her life story of tenacity and triumph is noteworthy. As a child, she was reared in a broken home, raised by a single mother and an army of uncles and aunts. Her father was incarcerated for the majority of her adolescent years, yet she has defied the odds and accomplished what statistics said she wouldn’t.

Her passion for Christ has led her to perform on several stages as a member of the Praise and Worship team, energetically leading congregants in worship experiences, weekly.

She has volunteered with numerous charities that focus on feeding the poor, mentoring young women and providing leadership on the basketball court to aspiring teen athletes.
